Live sets will come in the form of lively grunge-led rockers Velvet Blush, rock ‘n’ roll songstress AVA SAINT, husky acoustic sensation Tash Bird and infectious indie-rockers Sasha Assad, followed by DJ sets from Notts’ coolest cats Stiff Kittens and the WIM gang themselves Destiny’s Stepchild!

Indie-rock quartet Velvet Blush have been making waves in the Midlands right now, thanks to their lively live sets. These kick-ass gals recently headlined Rock City Beta’s stage for Beat The Streets and Leftlion said they’ve got a “fiery knack for heavy, grunge-led anthems and the size of their sound is tantalising as heck”.

Oozing style and swagger, Nottingham’s coolest cat AVA SAINT, morphs an ethereal vocal with hard-edged rock ‘n’ roll. Her single ‘Repair’ is a building guitar gem erupting with a chorus destined for massive festival stages.

Local acoustic sensation Tash Bird is making her mark on the music industry one show at a time. Embellishing every tune with her husky vocals and candid balladry, Tash has undoubtedly become a one to watch. Plus, her set at Beat The Streets was a certain highlight for us.
