The Midlands outfit was formed in 2016 and is fronted by the powerful punk delivery and melancholic songwriting of Jimbo Earl. Accompanying him on electric guitar is George Hill who delivers the band’s unmistakeable riffs, with Bobbi Chambers and Will Bullement solidifying a powerful rhythm section.
The band is a relative heavyweight in their home of Nottingham, being regulars at local festivals including Splendour, Beat the Streets, and Dot 2 Dot Fest among others.
After success with their formative singles, the band released their debut EP “Innovators and the Mischief Makers” in 2022, a name charmingly derived from a local review of the band. For lovers of punk rock, post-punk, and indie/alternative rock, Left Hand Lane performs a perfectly balanced blend of classic rock music fused with modern, innovative independent songwriting.
