Lacey are a four-piece Alt-Rock band from Nottingham formed in 2011. Like many bands they formed from the ashes of previous bands, however the difference with Lacey is that they grew up together, and it’s this long history that frontman Graham Turner claims gives the band their close-knit brotherly bond; “We’ve known each other since we were really young kids, there’s nothing that we don’t know about each other or can’t say to each other and that really helps when we’re writing. We all know how each of us think, so there’s no unnecessary tip-toeing around when it comes to suggesting parts or suggesting something could be better.. sure we fucking fight like brothers sometimes like all bands, but in the end we always end up on the same page, and the process just moves better and faster because we all want the same thing”.

Following up on last year’s well-received fan-funded debut album ‘Under The Brightest Lights’, Lacey have turned their attention to their new EP ‘I Don’t Owe The World A Thing‘. “The four-piece deliver huge, free-falling choruses and delicate melancholy while injecting these songs full of heartfelt intent” – Rock Sound Magazine.
