JUST JAMES

Just James are a live music project bringing together qualities of Hiphop, Drum ‘n’ Bass, and House as a fusion force to be reckoned with.

We’ve been performing together for two years now touring the Nottingham and Midlands music scenes, alongside up and coming festivals around the UK. Journalists and promoters have tried to pigeon-hole us with terms such as ‘Rave-hop’ and ’90’s Indie’ but we’ve found the best term to describe our band is ‘Science-fiction rock and roll’. We recently signed to Soundhub Records and We are now aspiring to expand our fan base alongside performing in other cities around the UK with the intention of publicising our new single ‘Red Light Means Go’ and other recordings in the near future.

The single ‘Red Light Means Go’ released July 16th was widely anticipated and has had impressive reviews throughout the board. The single itself has been described as ‘a hybrid behemoth; a beast with the head of acid-punk, the body of drum and bass and hindquarters of industrial grindcore’. Lord knows what it’s other bits are made of. During its release, the single made the iTunes Electronic Charts at #11.

“The name Just James might conjur up images of a nineties indie band, but think again as these guys are nothing of the sort. To watch them live is like shaking up a fizzy drink and then standing back watching the whole thing explode.”  – Leftlion Magazine

“The ‘Who needs class A’s when you’ve got these lot” – Midlands Music Maniacs

“These guys go in hard with a lyrical flow possessing all the force of a swinging baseball-bat. Expect grizzly bass lines funky vibes and masses of energy from JUST JAMES”  – Nusic

LOOPHOLE PROJECT

Loophole Project are a Nottingham based three piece consisting of Angelo, Andy and Matt.

Through separate chance meetings in their local music shop, they discovered a mutual appreciation of all things electronica. Naturally, in 2013 a band was formed and the collective released their first two songs, Complaints and So Close.

Making music with laptops, groove boxes and effected guitars, recreating their studio exploits on stage is where they get their biggest kicks.

THE VIBE

The Vibe sprang onto the West Midlands scene in 2011 with their energetic charismatic and instantly likeable form of indie pop. Combining their love of 80’s post punk, with the anthemic tones of contemporary indie, this three piece make it impossible not to stop and dance!

2012 was a great year for The Vibe which saw the release of the singles “ Fake Skin” & “Going Wrong”, and their follow up EP, “Silent Souls” which was described by Dean Jackson of BBC Nottingham as“Music that early strokes would be proud of!”

Having received regular play on local radio stations up and down the country, The Vibe brought their catchy hooks and sing alongs to some of Britain’s finest venues including The Flapper in Birmingham, The Barfly in London, a Headlining slot at the prestigious Dublin Castle in Camden and also secured slot at Midlands based Y Not? Festival 2012 alongside acts including, The Wombats and the Subways Starting the year with a sold out show in their home town of Burton upon Trent, The Vibe start as they mean to go on with their recently released set of singles titled “Sixty Two” & “Wise Man” already receiving regular play from BBC Introducing.

This bouncy bunch look forward to taking 2013 by storm! With more festivals, bigger choruses and most importantly more fun!!
