Eclectic alternative rock unit Good Hustles originally formed in 2018 after meeting through Nottingham’s sprawling open mic circuit. Gigging relentlessly through 2018-19 the quartet earned a reputation for their breathless in-your-face live shows. Being voted Best Nottingham Band by The Mic magazine in 2019 and 2020, GH proved their worth in support slots with Conversing With Oceans, PKEW PKEW PKEW and JW Francis to name a few. Following a reshuffle of members and instruments, original members Nathan Hart (lead guitar), Will Peters (bass) and Morton Piercewright (guitar and vocals) welcomed ex-Fading Blonde powerhouse Harvey Duddles on drums. Shifting from their roots in classic rock and metal influences the lads have spent 2020 refining a more nuanced and epic alternative sound. Their latest singles Smile, Coffee and Too Far have blended elements of pop-punk, emo and grunge to culminate in an immersive experience reminiscent of Hustles live shows. With an endless torrent of new tracks on the way including a scorching 7 track EP, Good Hustles have their sights on packed venues and festival stages alike.
