Betsey
With a voice described as “beyond her years”, Betsey B’s big, powerhouse vocals leave everyone feeling emotionally moved. After opening the Main Stage at Splendour Festival supporting Anne Marie and releasing her debut single which reached no.6 in the RnB iTunes charts, Betsey B is onto a big year. Crowned as Future sound of Nottingham 2022, Betsey is one to watch. Her empowering aura is unforgettable and shines through her music through her great storytelling and raw, jazzy tone similar to Etta James and Amy Winehouse. Always scribbling lyrics onto paper, writing is what she lives and breathes, she’ll be releasing another 2 singles later this year, following her recent release of ‘I Want You’.
Cherry Seraph
Cherry Seraph is the solo alt-pop electronic project of producer, artist and multi-instrumentalist Sophie Russell. Based between Bradford and Leeds, Cherry Seraph has received support from BBC Introducing, Plastic Magazine (“soul-stirring vocals”), Obscure Sound (“a thorough pop success”), Jarred Up (“reminiscent of The Japanese House”) and offers for coverage from Earmilk. She has recently returned from Battery Studios in London through support from Help Musicians and is underway preparing for a busy 2024.
