Beach Baby are a London-based four-piece whose transatlantic, sensory take on slacker-pop was brought together via Athens, Dorset and Sheffield.

They met in the musically-rich halls of Goldsmiths, where co-vocalists Ollie and Lawrence placed an advert looking to flesh out their then-folk-driven duo. Future bassist Iraklis turned up dressing like a 50s freshman (and swiftly got the gig), before the addition of drummer Shep rounded off the dreamy mix of sounds that would define Beach Baby. And it’s this quintessentially British take on the glamourized post-college experience – the frustrations and thwarted fantasies that might actually await you – which underline Beach Baby:
