Dot To Dot ’25 – Downstairs Preview

Dot To Dot is back again this year and we’ve got another stacked line-up in both the downstairs bar and upstairs venue. The door to the downstairs bar will be the first to open at our place so here’s a rundown of the bands gracing that very stage on the 25th May…

Kicking us off is Drury Hill at 1:30pm, a Nottingham based soft-rock duo whose silky smooth tunes have earned them multiple top notch support slots across the city over the past year. These guys are definitely worth getting down early for! Next up, it’s Basht. at 2:30pm. All the way from Dublin, Ireland, these guys (guilty of selling out two UK/IRE tours in 2024) will bring exciting indie and rock with real earthy songwriting, and it’d be daft of ya to miss them.

The luck of the Irish continues onto 3:30pm with garage punk trio Adore. 2025 so far has seen the release of two mega singles from these guys: explosive anthem ‘Stay Free Old Stranger’ and daringly heavy allegro ‘Show Me Your Teeth’ – both of which inspire a raucous pleasure, and will be sure to do so on the 25th! We’ve got Bristolian WALT hitting the stage next. From him, we can expect smart songwriting and experimental R&B backing, all with the aid of his brilliant band. 4:30pm for him – scribble that down real quick.

Singer-songwriter Bradley Marshall takes us into the evening at 5:30pm. Following heaps of Radio 1 play as of late, he’ll smash the heck out of his D2D25 set just like he’s smashed the scene up with his perfect new single ‘Skin and Bones’. Kick off your evening the right way! LEMONSUCKR follow that up at 6:30PM, having only released their debut single a matter of months ago. Diving deep into post-punk with a sense of wonderful dark humour, whatever comes next is set to be a stunner. Catch some unreleased tunes with a Bodega Lager!

Hello! The name of the freshest EP from Welsh rock band Public Order. They’ll be switching the volume up to 11 at 7:30pm in the Bodega bar. They exist to bring listeners bags of joy in the form of dance-inspired guitar music. Certainly not one to be missed! Fronted by the aptly named Jason Singer, the next act of our downstairs line-up are north-eastern Americans Michigander. With their debut full length release hitting shelves earlier this year, now is the time to be getting excited for these groovy alt-rockers and we think 8:30pm on Sunday 25th May is the perfect place to do that!

Our penultimate players are The Deep Blue at 9:30PM. Remembering their TWO headline shows at our place last year make us so excited for them to return to us. They combine deep and meaningful conversation topics with euphoric indie-rock and beautiful harmonies. This one is gonna be mega! Last up on our downstairs stage is more Bodega alumni (after their brill set supporting SOFY in April). My First Time will bring us a vibrant cocktail of indie and psych-rock, with a tinted layer of avant-garde tones. They will bring us the best headline slot we could ask for!
