plus: DENYTHELIE

Deny the Lie stand out from the masses as a band not afraid to blaze their own path, rewriting the rock ‘n’ roll rule book as they go.

Fuelled by furious guitar riffs, powerful song writing and more than a few epic chorus’s, Deny the Lie are a glorious fusion of punk aesthetics and dark edged lyrics with classic rock hooks.

Deny the Lie have brought their intense live show to venues big and small across the UK, including the Birmingham O2 academy, Nottingham’s Rock City and multiple knock-out headline shows at the Victoria Inn, Derby. To say the band have cut their teeth in the bad lands of the UK live circuit is an understatement at the very least, they’ve cut, sharpened and sunk them into any gig which comes their way. Debut single ‘Alright Now’ is a passionate mission statement and calling card left echoing through venues nationwide. (video directed by Lewis Cater who’s done videos for Paramore label mates Cobra Starship, Dive Bella Dive, All Time Low and the ‘Dr Jekyll and Mr Famous’ video for former Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz’s band, Black Cards).

Following the success of their debut single the band are raring to get back into the studio and lay down their new material. Boasting songs crafted over the last year and honed on stage and through extensive demoing, the next Deny the Lie sessions will likely see the birth of a debut album of devasting quality. Passionate input from all members has seen the penning of new tracks unlike anything they’ve recorded before, yet still quintessentially ‘Deny the Lie’. 2013 will see a new chapter for Deny the Lie, a band with the songs, the live show and the dedication to take them anywhere.
