Still Corners is a band formed in 2008 in London, England. Built on the siren-like vocals of Tessa Murray and atmospheric songs of Greg Hughes, they create a wash of Lynch-esque inspired love songs.
Hughes’s self-released EP titled “Remember Pepper?” (2008) quickly gained momentum with the indie blogoshere and paved the way to a string of live shows with Leon Dufficy on guitar and Luke Jarvis on bass.
Still Corners garnered wide critical success with a string of singles including the Don’t Fall In Love/Wish 7-inch on cult label the Great Pop Supplement and the haunting Endless Summer during 2010.
Their full length debut, “Creatures of an Hour” was launched on Sub Pop in October 2011.
The band is now touring in the US and Europe in support of the album.

Please check out brand new video for “Into The Trees” – directed by Ollie Murray who recently worked with The Horrors on their “Still Life” video.

“London quintet Still Corners usually spend their time perfecting gorgeous, shimmering pop songs, watching subtitled movies and being glacial heartbreakers.” Fader
“…the band displays its knack for the aforementioned atmospherics and for succinct indie-pop songwriting, but they’re unafraid to mix in other elements, evidenced by the utterly spooky waltz of ‘Velveteen’ and the krautrock-style propulsion of ‘Submarine’.”
