a personal message from the band… “We are cancelling the whole 15 date tour due to personal health issues in the band. Unfortunately as much as it is the last thing we would wish to do, we cannot play live shows with one of the band members out of action.”

Ivyrise was formed in 2007 and began touring the UK with Kula Shaker before working with producer Paul Simm to record “Tips” and the first studio version of “Disguise”. Since then, Ivyrise has worked with alternative rock producer Alan Moulder, famed for his work with Nine Inch Nails and Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins, as well as French producers Yves Jaget and Mickael Laguierri.
On 28 April 2008, Ivyrise released their first single, “Tips”, which entered the BBC Radio 1 Independent Chart at #5. The single also entered both the HMV and 7 Digital Top 20 Bestsellers List during its first week of release.
In May 2008, Ivyrise toured the UK in support of the first single and won a competition run by thelondonpaper to support Bon Jovi on the Lost Highway Tour, opening for Bon Jovi on 28 June 2008 at Twickenham Stadium.
Ivyrise’s second release, “Disguise”, entered the BBC Radio 1 Independent Chart at #2 on 6 October 2008. The single was remixed by Jason Nevins.
Ivyrise went to Sonic Ranch in Texas with producer and lead singer of A Jason Perry in February 2011 to record their debut album.
Ivyrise’s eponymous debut album was released in the UK on 22 August 2011.
