Winston Surfshirt has announced a UK and European tour this Autumn, kicking off on 2nd October in Hamburg, Germany and ending at London’s Electric Ballroom on Friday 25th October. Renowned for the raucous live shows that have shaped their cult following, Winston will be bringing full band along for this run, taking his feel-good hip-hop, funk and pop inspired sound to UK shows including King Tuts Glasgow on Monday 14th October, Gorilla in Manchester on Tuesday 15th October, Bodega in Nottingham on Wednesday 16th October and Birmingham’s Academy 3 on Friday 18th October. The tour will also pass through Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol and Brighton, finishing up in London on 25th October. The band will also play shows in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands and France.

Further showcasing their unique blend of musicality, Winston Surfshirt’s most recent release ‘Make A Move’ marked their second new release since a highly applauded 16-track debut record, ‘Sponge Cake’. The 2017 LP featured their debut Gold-certified single ‘Be About You’ and received nods from international tastemakers Beats 1 ‘Zane Lowe and Sir Elton John, Jason Bentley (KCRW), Huw Stephens & Phil Taggart (BBC Radio 1) and Lauren Laverne (BBC Radio 6), alongside earning triple j feature album. They went on to sell out all 10 shows on their Australian ‘Sponge Cake’ tour, followed by festival billings at Splendour In The Grass, Spilt Milk, Falls Festival, Field Day & This That, before selling out shows across Europe.

Winston Surfshirt are back and better than ever, with new single ‘Make A Move’ lending a welcome toast to the future of Australia’s much-loved collective and a string of tour dates that are not to be missed.
