Sounddhism is an all out assault on musical mediocrity featuring the freshest live acts from all over as well as top new and established producers and DJs, all at one of the best venues in Nottingham on a Saturday night. With a mixture of all good musical sounds cutting right through the genre spectrum, this groundbreaking night has a lot for everyone.

Sounddhism is a club night that features lives acts as standard and one of the widest selections of music at any night going in Nottingham. One of the most refreshing and interesting events to hit the Bodega over the past year, they’ve been delivering some seriously on point shows and parties (Jehst, Submotion Orchestra, Simbad, The Correspondents, Lazy Habits and DJ Format for starters) and are fast gathering a big following of music lovers from all walks of life.
Their approach to creating online content means there’s always a good link, mix/podcast or video to check out on their facebook page too, this is a night that aims to deliver a little more than your average. Also look out for Sounddhism Sessions in the bar once a month and many one off shows taking place besides the all out monthly club night.
As well as introducing international talent to Nottingham, bringing through awesome and often under the radar local artists and exposing them to open minded and fun-loving audiences is Sounddhism’s mantra. Top local acts like Natalie Duncan Royal Gala and Louis Scott are just a few of the regulars at the night, whilst their keen eye for talent has brought some brand new future stars to the table that have already gone on to bigger things – Harleighblu who debuted with her band for the first ever Sounddhism has recently played big slots at local festivals Splendour and the Hockley Hustle and big record deals are already on the horizon.
Come take a dip in the Sounddhism pool for soulful, eye opening, ear pleasing music that genuinely manages to straddle genres as diverse as hip-hop, house, jazz, dub, afrobeat and way off into the Electronic stratosphere on any given night. Lots of fun.
